Description: This wiring harness provides the connection for one set of RCA cables to feed the audio signal to an external amplifier, as well as an additional circuit with a remote wire for the remote turn-on wire for the amp. This wire, along with a set of RCA cables, is routed to your aftermarket amp. All you have to do is connect the main power wire from the battery and ground. (Not Included) The volume on the amp can be adjusted using the dials on the harness. For easier access, we recommend using an external volume knob. (Not Included) The installer must select which circuit to use with the Add-A-Circuit. The most common is the radio circuit, however, if deemed practical, any circuit that turns on/off with the ignition can be used. Different wire colors can be used for the remote wire coming out of the harness. Regardless of the color, be sure it is for the remote turn-on wire for the amp. Installation: Remove the factory radio. Disconnect the factory wiring and connect this harness. Reinstall the factory radio. Turn on the stereo and adjust the main volume control on the stereo to approximately 3/4 of the maximum volume. Select one of the adjustment potentiometers and slowly turn it clockwise until you begin to hear distortion in the sound, then stop. Turn the remaining potentiometer to the same position as the previously adjusted potentiometer.
